Michigan China Forum
March 25 - March 26
The Michigan China Forum is founded this year by three largest Chinese student organizations at the University of Michigan with the mission of empowering future leaders from the U.S., China, and beyond to lead in a global economy. The Forum will present an unprecedented conversation between a diverse group of leaders from the two nations, covering issues about future U.S.-China relations, disruptive mobility, cross-country entrepreneurship, etc.
The Forum will take place at Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor on Mar 26th. The following key speakers are confirmed, among many others:
HONG Lei, Consul General of China in Chicago (keynote speaker)
Gene Ma, Chief China Economist at Institute of International Finance
Veronica Wu, Former Vice President for China Operations at Tesla Motors, Co-president at China Science and Merchants Capital Investment Group
Mark Platshon, Senior Advisor at BMW i Ventures
Jun Ni, Deputy Chair of Global Future Council on Future Production at the World Economic Forum; Founding Dean of the UM-SJTU Joint Institute
Huei Peng, Director of MCity at University of Michigan
Brian Connors, Director of the Michigan-China Innovation Center
The 48th Governor of Michigan, Rick Snyder, is also being invited to give a keynote speech at the Forum.
