Co-founder, Google

Larry Page

Co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin pioneered a method of searching the Internet based on links between Web sites, rather than simply the data on individual pages. This new idea led to the creation of Google in 1998, which has become the Web’s dominant search engine. Since 2011, he has been chief executive of Google, and also sits on its board of directors.
